MITSUBISHI PAJERO/ MONTERO

The Pajero was the angel of India in a akin abridgement but fell out of favour already imports were relaxed. However, the Pajero accumulated in India is still an acutely competent and boxy vehicle. If you adopt something added current, again the Montero is an option. It has adaptable carriage torque and is absolutely loaded with goodies; the autogenous is actual beautiful and adequate too.

Honda Cr -V Review

Author: rani  |  Category: India Cars Review

HONDA CR-V

Honda’s CR-V depicts itself as a four-wheel-drive SUV, when actually it is almost like a car. Honda has stiffened its structure and the suspension has been extensively reworked. These changes make the CR-V amongst the best handling soft-roaders around. The exterior is also all-new and quite bold and eye-catching. The insides are plush and rich; the familiar 2.4 petrol engine that drives the Accord also powers the CR-V and is mated to a six-speed manual, though an auto is an option. On the road, the CR-V is a great runner.

Toyota Corolla Review

Author: rani  |  Category: India Cars Review

TOYOTA COROLLA

It has won success with its all-round abilities. But the styling is not exciting and now looks dated. The high stance and empty space in the wheel wells do little to improve matters. The inside is sensible and pleasant with nice materials. Lots of features too, depending on the version you choose and the 1.8 petrol engine is an energy packed one. Along with the low gearing it ensures that the Corolla is quite quick. But though it has the muscle, it lacks the finesse and the steering is also too light, especially at higher speeds.

Maruti Dzire Review

Author: rani  |  Category: India Cars Review

MARUTI DZIRE

The notchback Swift is just 40cm longer than the hatch, and is mostly the same car. But converting something conceived as a hatch into a three-box, always poses a styling dilemma, and Maruti were not really successful. The Dzire though inherits both the 1.3-litre petrol and the fabulous 1.3-litre DDi multijet diesel from the Swift, which means it packs a decent punch. Just that when ferrying five people and their luggage, the petrol struggles, whereas the diesel still delights. Dynamically too, the Dzire acquits itself well.

Hyundai Accent Review

Author: rani  |  Category: Hyundai Accent

HYUNDAI ACCENT
The Accent has been one of Hyundai India’s most success¬ful products and though it’s due for a phase-out, it refuses to die. Simply because there are buyers who appreciate its clean styling, simple but spacious interior, willing 1.5 litre petrol engine, light controls, easy-to-drive character and reliability and low cost of running. But its interiors have not aged and the bigger 1.6 petrol and CRDi diesel engine are also not available. Nevertheless, it offers good value and remains a nice entry level saloon with a soft ride.

Tata Indica Review

Author: rani  |  Category: Tata Indica

TATA INDICA
The Indica is still going strong. In fact, now there are so many versions and engines that they’re difficult to keep track of. All these changes have made it a better looker and performer and over the years there has been great improvement in the quality of paintwork and finish. The interiors have also brightened and space and ride quality are its biggest assets. Turbo lag continues to be a problem and its road manners are also inferior to that of the competition. But it offers great value, especially the Xeta versions.
