HYUNDAI ELANTRA
Its phasing out and maybe even replacement, is around the corner. In spite of its strong performance credentials, comfortable interior, clever packaging that includes both a diesel and petrol engine, and the attractive pricing, it never quite managed to catch the fancy of the Indian consumer. Is the not so attractive front to blame or was it just Hyundai’s inability to inspire buyers? However the Elantra is a most competent and satisfying car and a real bargain. It even provides traction control.
