The Octavia has really helped establish Skoda in India and is a good seller even today. Good performance combined with stellar economy keep sales at an all time high, though many complain about the cost of prohibitive spare parts. Available in seven variants, namely Rider, Elegance, L&K and the petrol RS, there is also a station wagon version; the only diesel car in India with this feature. There is an automatic as well and a 1.8-litre turbo petrol. A very reliable car with strong build quality, that has a growing fan following.
