So even if you blanch at that Rs 2.4-lakh price tag, remember that this is at present the cheapest personal transportation alternative anywhere in the world. Just two seats (with two tiny seats for kids or shopping bag), limited range, limited max speed and hard ride could all be deterrents, but then running cost is lower than using a cycle rickshaw and parking is a cinch. The Reva could make a sensible second car for short commutes to work or shopping.
